When we moved back then, I also left a kitchen to my new tenant.

The research beforehand showed that the value of the kitchen including installation drops by 50%, and then 10% is deducted per year of use. A 10-year-old kitchen is therefore worthless.

My kitchen cost 1400 euros at the time and would thus have been worth 210 euros after 7 years. I received, to save the new tenant’s face (ALG II), 50 euros. That was the end of the matter for me, and I was glad that I didn’t have to dispose of the kitchen. And the new tenant got a kitchen that was significantly newer than his old kitchen.

Accordingly, your kitchen would be worth about 500 euros. I would just throw that price in the room to the new tenant and wait for the reaction. And if he offers 300 or even just 200 euros, take it. The effort of dismantling and disposal would certainly be more expensive in any case.

You can be glad to get 300 €. Make sure to get something in writing here as well. The problem is that it is not you but the landlord who decides on the new tenant. We had a similar case and agreed verbally on taking over the kitchen. A few days later, the person could no longer remember the price. Thank God he did not get the apartment after all.

In the classifieds, kitchens are traded at prices higher than 300€. I would initially ask for between 500 and 700€. Alternatively, try offering it to the landlord.

depending on how much desire you have to torment yourself with it. a new tenant is basically zero work, but also certainly the least money. selling individually means maximum profit, but also maximum work. someone coming around to take the kitchen for 1000€ completely is rather wishful thinking. in the end, it's like with a car. if you sell your car to the dealer where you get your new car, you have the least work but also the least return. if you currently have enough to do with the renovation, I would really try to push it onto the new tenant. if they really want to spend little, you can still try to sell individual appliances yourself (e.g. fridge or dishwasher). you can also sell the kitchen to the landlord, who then adds the kitchen cost to the rent. the kitchen then has to be appropriate for the apartment. you can't lure someone into a 1500 cold rent apartment with a 2500 euro kitchen...

Contract is mandatory. The landlord should also insist on this so that he knows upon apartment handover that the kitchen can actually remain. Otherwise, he cannot hand over the apartment cleared to the new tenant, and simply disposing of it (at his own cost) is also not legal.

Achieving a good price depends on
- the condition of the cabinets
- the condition of the electrical appliances
- the functionality of the electrical appliances
- the color of the carcass/front
- the presentation
and last but not least on the negotiation skills of the seller.
