Is it possible to divide a 40m² apartment into two units?

But could one build a raised floor level so that the pipes run basically in the elevated floor? It's "only" about 2 meters (if you lay the pipes from the kitchen to the bathroom as shown in the drawing). Or would a sewage pump have to be used here?

What is there? Owners' community? Rental apartment? You can't just put a second toilet somewhere. There are community rights, living according to WEG (Condominium Act)

Another idea would be to install 2 rooms as shown in the attached picture. I think it would be possible to reduce the storage room and practically move the bathroom to the back?

And yes, it is a condominium community and I am the owner of the apartment.

Before you plan anything, you should definitely approach the community. You will need their approval if you want to turn one apartment into two. It may be that only one opposing vote stops your project before it even starts. In a WEG there are many restrictions...

that will not work, this is a tower with 500+/- residents

as I said... the possibility of reducing the bathroom size and relocating the kitchen to the back (see picture above) should be within the realm of possibility, right?

Where is the kitchen supposed to go? And who is supposed to live there?
