Gas or air heat pump experiences?

I don’t understand all these calculations! With an air-water heat pump, I don’t need a chimney flue (about €3000) or a chimney sweep, and with heat pump electricity tariffs, you also save a lot on heating costs annually. You easily make back the difference after 7-10 years and then heat at a profit compared to the gas boiler, without considering the possible rising gas price!?

No. You don't need a chimney draft for gas costing 3T €. Roughly: the investment costs are somewhat lower for the air-water heat pump if you include the ST. The heating costs are generally higher or equal to gas.

Ditto - for us, the case for the second meter also didn't work out. The basic fee is to blame...

According to my calculation with about 3000kW and a difference of 8 cents between the tariffs, I end up with €180 savings per year - €50 meter fee!

Do you get the kWh for 16.8 cents with a 4.2€ meter fee? Then hats off. We don’t have that.
