Thank you for the answers and good explanations, I was able to understand everything very well. Many thanks!!
The telephone line arrives in the utility room, we can connect our (existing) router there to the network (I will separately procure and have the patch panel, switch, and cabinet installed).
I am also still unsure about the telephone connection via DECT; if I install a double LAN socket in the living room, I can also connect the phone through that (we have completely removed the TAE sockets), since the phone then runs via the LAN socket (which is possible).
Then I would at least have to have a double socket installed in the living room and office (this would be the requirement); in the office I would integrate the printer into the network, so the KZ (childrens‘ rooms) would remain printer-free. I could also do that with a switch if necessary, right? That would save me the double socket, which shouldn’t be expensive anyway.
What should such a double socket cost? Our interior fitter charges 37 euros net for a simple LAN socket (BTR NETCOM Cat. 7 1xRJ45 Up0). Is that a realistic price or completely excessive?
Regarding the SAT system, if antenna cabling is already offered, does that mean that coax cables (=TV cables) are already laid to the respective antenna sockets in the rooms? Is that correct? Then in the end I would only need the cabling from the utility room (where the cables apparently come together) to the SAT dish or LNB (wherever it is positioned). We are currently thinking of a positioning on the garage (the view to east-south-west is clear from there, Astra is approximately at 19.2 or so, that should be in range, please correct me if wrong).
The idea is that you can more easily get to the SAT dish on the garage than on the roof. Are there any recommendations on this?

Charly
