No matter how it is done, such a system must always be installed and maintained by a specialist. Because dealing with gas is always a delicate matter and should be closely monitored.

Hello Wurm!! Of course, it must be installed and maintained by professionals, but the way you describe it, it’s not *gg* (painting the devil on the wall) either. For you personally, it is maintenance-free; you just have to make sure you don’t run out of fluid, nothing else. Having a service plan and intervals is obviously every 1-2 years. But otherwise, it’s like any heating system!!! Regards.

Almost everything is described. Here with us, the situation is now that you select a gas supplier and make a contract with them. They provide the tank, pipes, possibly a meter, etc., take care of acceptance, maintenance ... and fill the tank when it is empty - possibly without any action on your part. All this is specified in the contract. All this works on a rental basis - so very little effort. If the tank is bothersome, an underground tank can also be chosen.
Best regards dellino

Hi, I also want to heat my house with liquefied gas, the old provider contract is expiring, and I want to choose a new provider with a shorter contract term who also works on the rental price basis. Since I do not have my own gas tank, the new provider would also have to provide the gas tank. Can someone name a company that has cheap prices and very good service because that would be very important for me, thank you.

Hi guys,

one not insignificant aspect is still missing here: according to my information, liquefied gas is significantly more expensive than oil! Oil tanks are now also quite affordable and do not require major installation requirements.

Hello Dellino,

I am also not happy about having to heat with oil... I bought a house in a rural area, natural gas is not available, a pellet heating system is much too expensive to purchase, and everything else is difficult since it is not a new building. I am not an expert either, but (hopefully!) capable of calculating with rule of three, and if you convert to performance, i.e. kWh, and consider that one liter of oil provides about 10 kWh, whereas one liter of liquid gas only delivers 6.57 kWh (at a only slightly lower price, currently about 70 cents versus 66 cents), liquid gas is considerably more expensive! For me, about 900 euros annually. And that doesn’t even include the rent for the tank, which I didn’t even consider anymore with those numbers. For 900 euros I can already get two solid oil tanks of 1000 liters each, which have no follow-up costs. Natural gas corresponds roughly to that of crude oil. Of course, I can only refer to the data from the internet and for my place of residence (Münsterland). If you have a provider that offers you liquid gas at the same price as natural gas (but please calculate properly!) and the rent is so affordable that it really pays off, you are indeed lucky!

Best regards

Erika
