Referring to the same reference height, I would choose an opening height of 226 for the windows, plus 30 cm for the roller shutter box, resulting in a room height of about 260 cm. This has also become a common size, and half a handbreadth less room height hardly leads to any significant price reductions.
Thank you for the hint! I actually hadn’t thought about including the windows in the consideration. It probably does look more harmonious if the height is matched here.
I’ll inquire with our likely general contractor about the additional costs that will arise if we adjust the room height.
Thanks again to everyone! To summarize: doors at only 2 meters are no longer very common, and the small increase we have planned would not feel cramped even with a room height of 2.50 m (although 2.60 m is now the standard height).
I will take the window aspect into consideration and decide based on the additional costs.
