Hmm North arrow

North ... well, top left? Which arrow is the N?

If I interpret N correctly, the children's rooms on the upper floor would actually face north, at least with the wall windows.

And, also on the upper floor, the bay window again shows 2 sections to the right and left of the dressing room, which are actually not usable. And besides, assigning the bay window with the regular windows to the dressing room ... well, I don't know. I would rather distribute the two children's rooms on the bay window side.

I think this needs to be freshly revised all at once.

And you should get used to posting all plans in this kind of thread with a uniform orientation. That makes discussions much easier. And, as I said, just add the labeled north arrow again on every plan that you scan, etc. Then you always have everything complete.

Good morning: yes, north is the left arrow sorry. above: it is no longer a dressing room but an additional room, e.g. guest or office. through the windows in the adjacent rooms you gain enough storage space. children's rooms are in the north, that could still be swapped. in return garden view. e.g. bedroom north on the bay window side. in the south there is a street, the bathroom should preferably be located there.. therefore the bedroom is still close to the bathroom. to both of you below: the dining table should be in the living room behind the door or original partition wall, lengthwise towards the back into the living room (a shelf there is not a must). the idea was that from there you can also see the gallery, so use this "bay window" in the living room as a visual axis. one would have to see how the house looks in 3d with 2 double windows in the middle and one single on the left and right. if, however, it should not be floor-to-ceiling, it will be visually difficult. can we also send you an email? i do not want to post all plans.

However, the room is only 330 cm deep and just makes use of the maximum. For you, it is 380 cm.

That is why my suggestion with the tilting: then you have more freedom of movement due to the resulting triangle

Hi,

I'm just jumping in briefly here, although I have to say - I'm usually more practically minded and don't think so much about "looks".

I've read through the thread now (although at some points it got a bit too much) and right from the start two questions came up for me:

1. Passage to the living room: Why do you need two passages to the living room? You're unnecessarily taking up space. Remove one of the passages and widen the passage by the window a bit. In the corner behind the door to the hallway, you can place a cupboard or something similar if needed.

2. Wouldn't it make sense to design the two outer kitchen windows as "normal" windows? a) the symmetry is preserved b) you can plan your kitchen in a shortened U-shape. On the shortened U-side under the window you can chop or wash (we have our sink there) and keep the view out of the window. The middle doors form the exit to the terrace (here you could also combine the doors into a central double door - symmetry is still preserved).
This would solve the space problem with the kitchen island, as the island would become unnecessary.

Maybe you really love kitchen islands and can't/won't live without one. If so, just forget about it again .
