Setting up a garden of approximately 600 sqm - rough cost estimate?

The premium garden landscapers (=enjoy an excellent reputation in the town) here in the area charge +/- 100€/sqm including paving for 25€/m²

the less well-known landscapers charge almost the same

I think they will all do good work

Hard to say... depends on what you want:

We paid just under 8,500 euros for laying paving on 120 sqm + 15 meters of [Spritzschutz].

We spread soil ourselves in the garden (also about 500-600 sqm). It was a lot of work, but "free"... also did the lawn seeding alone.

Built the garden shed ourselves (about 3.20 x 4.80 meters) for about 2,000 euros (wood, materials, roofing felt, [Schweißbahn], etc.).

We are currently having the entire outdoor area done by a landscape gardener. This roughly includes: driveway, aluminum fence + automatic gate on a base, double rod mat at the back, two natural stone walls, natural stone raised beds, complete irrigation, many plants and 5 larger trees (up to 35 cm trunk circumference), large rainwater cisterns, children's playhouse + water play street, outdoor kitchen in natural stone with electric shading on the sun terrace, 2x terraces made of Accoya totaling approx. 60 sqm, carport made of aluminum/wood.

Current costs in total approx. 160,000 EUR

2018? Then that is very, very small even in Lower Saxony!!

Our land: 570 sqm. Built-up area 133. Remaining 337 sqm. Of this, around 100 sqm terraces and paths. What was done? Splash protection, gravel strip drainage around the house and terrace, driveway compacted and covered with granite chippings. 2nd parking space likewise, front slope secured with granite blocks, back with planting rings. One terrace and paths laid, platforms at both doors. Paving prices paths 11,- and terrace 19 per sqm. A mound was built and planted with B plants (what had to be removed). A hornbeam hedge planted towards the neighbor. Planting rings and mound at the front also planted with B stock. Lawn sown. Costs 15k gross. Karsten
