Yes, everything is changeable. How would you place them, Schubert? I am grateful for any tip.

The 3rd view is the window front in the living room

Basically, the living room size is sufficient. It depends on the furniture
Corner sofa + armchair + huge wall unit obviously need space. If you really want to use your old furniture, my first consideration would be where I need less space (with the same floor plan size). Then I would think about how to adapt the rooms to my needs. In other words, what does my desired living room look like and does the kitchen-dining area really have to be arranged like that?
I think an extension is a very bad idea.
You also have to consider that 1 meter longer and wider also affects the upper floor and is financially quite a big deal.

Are you building without a basement? What is the orientation? Where is the garage located? What should the attic look like?
To really find a solution for the entire house, too much information is missing, including your ideas.

Thank you Tichu for your assessment. Both options, the extension and the 1 meter enlargement, have been fully calculated with the builder and come out the same. Your considerations were exactly our approach. But actually nothing can be taken away except from the hallway and it would not change the arrangement of the kitchen/dining area. The house would have a basement and the entire living room side faces south, the kitchen southwest. In the attic, adding 1 meter in front of the master bedroom and a child's bedroom would enlarge them, which would be quite okay since they are the smaller rooms. Garage/carport is located to the north by the garden entrance. Our idea is that the main room, where the whole family life takes place, simply needs to be a bit bigger, whether with old or new furniture. The extension would make the floor plan a bit more 'exciting' and at the same time destroy the appealing symmetry of the house. And I just wanted to hear others' opinions on that. The house would have a basement and an additional meter down there is actually not necessary in terms of usefulness.

I don't like the entire floor plan either, but that's my personal opinion. I agree with Tichu78. I also don't like the arrangement of living room-dining area-kitchen, and the hallway is too large for the size of the house. I think the extension, like Tichu78, is the worst option. If at all, then option 2, but the windows don't fit there. Have you tried any other floor plan variants?

Nice if you can afford that ... but rather ask yourself if it is really necessary. Imagine there is a better floor plan with fewer square meters? Size is not always the most important thing. The hallway would be too big for me as well. You could certainly cut something off there. With such a large house, there are definitely other floor plans that better match your ideas. 10mx10m with a basement ... you can really let loose there ... the staircase is the key to a good floor plan. Maybe you need to start there. Straight staircase or 2x quarter-turn with a landing, the quarter-turn staircase is certainly also very feasible. If I google city villa floor plans as images, you get many alternatives. I would suggest moving either the kitchen, dining, or living area more towards the center of the house, so that there is more space across the entire width.
