Each side of the house has 1 outdoor water tap
plus one line to the old cellar

3 sockets in the front garden
3 sockets behind the house
6 sockets on the terrace/west garden
1 power line to the old cellar

At the top of the hill, the garden is additionally connected to the water supply from the street behind the house. Whether this is still possible nowadays, no idea

It spreads out nicely around the house and saves trips - walking around the house is tiring and on the east side it’s just too steep. During construction, the extra water and electricity hardly caused additional costs, since the locations of the water connections didn’t require much further piping work. We like to be outside a lot, grow edible plants, chop wood, or sometimes sit quietly, sometimes sociably.

For most, it is more than what we had in mind. Could you (i.e., everyone who has rather many connections) please explain how you use the connections, or are, for example, the 6 sockets on the terrace usually unused?
Then we can better imagine whether/why one needs more connections. Thank you!

Yes, you can never have enough sockets outside as well.

We have in the carport
4x220V 1x 32A three-phase

In the tool shed sockets for various purposes
On the terrace 2x 220V
In the garden 5x2.5 for lights, garden irrigation, and so on
At the gate/entrance also 5x2.5 for gate control, lights, etc.

It’s like in apartments and houses. Whenever you need a socket, there isn’t one. In the garden for: the table fan, the grass trimmer, mobile phone charging cable, raclette/fondue at the garden table, electric mosquito repellent, Sonos, etc.
