That is a bit high in comparison, though. You should naturally already have comparisons here.
Thank you very much, you will understand that we will obtain other offers for this amount. Is this calculation already final, or do you still have leeway with a thorough review?
Or quite bluntly: "I did not expect such a high interest rate. I need to reconsider whether the project is actually reasonable for me, or for you and us together."

Yesterday, I had a visit from an lbs advisor. After more than 5 years, he just wanted to see how things are going. I thought he wanted to offer me something, but currently, nothing really useful is possible with ongoing contracts. Maturity only with 0.02% per month... Since we know him personally, it was just a nice chat. Interest rates rose by about 0.15% in January; with equity that covers more than just the incidental costs, 0.7% is currently possible; in December, 0.55% would have even been possible. Just some info. It's a pity that we still have almost 4 years left on the term; I would have liked to convert our building savings contracts, which we took out to secure the interest rates, into an annuity loan—lbs has only recently started offering that, but back then, unfortunately not. In any case, we will now combine the remaining sum into one pot over the entire term.

At the beginning, it was also too high for us because we relied on the first offer from our [hausbank]. we thought we could trust our long-time bank advisor... eventually we compared better and then refinanced, which also went without problems at our [hausbank]. we were still a bit annoyed. it's best to compare before finalizing the financing.

Checked the conditions again today and the interest rate had risen from 0.77 to 0.92.

That's how it is, the yield to maturity has increased by 0.3 percentage points. Don't wait much longer!

I am also about to finalize a follow-up loan. It looks like interest rates will continue to rise in the coming weeks
