I somehow find portholes very 90s, but the 90s are currently making a comeback. We have both a "folding window" and strip windows on the eaves side, knee wall 1.89m at 20 degrees pitch. We think both are great, even though you can't really look out through the strips while standing. But they bring in a lot of light.

But why this increase in price when it is about a knee wall of 170 and it is about the usual view?

Thank you for the many tips and advice! I need to google the staggered floor right away. Maybe that is our solution?!

A folding balcony is not necessary for us since we have a knee wall of 1.70m. In my opinion, the folding balcony is mainly suitable directly under the roof.

I find Elina's version chic. It is the combination of "fixed glazing and skylight." However, according to our construction company, this is quite expensive with a roller shutter (>3000 EUR).

: What do your light strips look like? At what height did you place them and how high are the openings? Can these light strips be opened? Or can they be darkened? Thanks!

: Do you have grilles in front of the deep windows? Or are they fixed glazing? Our architect said that there must be a 30cm high roller shutter box above the window and about a 20cm concrete lintel above that. Also, the window must not be set lower than 90cm from the finished floor, otherwise it could not be opened or would have to be equipped with special fall protection. That discouraged me.

Thanks and regards,
Marple
