I imagine it to be very uncomfortable - especially on tiles. And all the more so for people sensitive to heat/cold

Why not a split unit? You can set it so that it doesn’t blow on you - also let it work with such low ventilation that you don’t notice it. Yesterday I finished the [Klimaplanung] and I am very much looking forward to pleasant nights upstairs

We want to do it, but we were rather told the additional costs would be 1000 euros.

With ground source heat pumps, the surcharge is also only that much - Toxi was probably talking about other heating systems and that additionally.

No. I was talking about heat pumps.

The difference for us would be around 1600 euros plus taxes for the heat pump that can also cool passively. Basically, the heat exchanger and the pumps just keep running.

And then there are probably other heat pumps that can actively cool with additional power input and transfer the heat from the underfloor heating to the brine and thus to the ground using compressor technology.

Stupid question about that. How does it work then with hot water?

Presumably just like that. The heat for the hot water is still being extracted from the brine. Maybe alternately until the tank is warm enough?
