I’m taking a risk by naming numbers here, but I’ll do it anyway. Calculate about 10k for gas with collectors according to the Energy Saving Ordinance, about 15k for the heat pump plus 10k for the photovoltaic. So about 15k difference. The photovoltaic pays for itself after about 12 years. Heating costs are cheaper with gas, but photovoltaic helps you here. I think you can consider it equal. So 5,000 euros left over. You can do that if you have the budget. Based on the numbers, I rather don’t see that for you.

The decision between gas and heat pump depends on personal opinion regarding the price development of gas and electricity.

The heat pump usually has higher initial costs than the BWT but also receives a subsidy, so the differences can shrink significantly.

Ok, I still have to weigh everything up again and a visit to the energy consultant is unavoidable anyway. [Vorlauftemperatur]. A few problems or questions will solve themselves in direct conversation.

Thanks already.

Please do not forget the gas pipe, the chimney, and its sweeper in the calculations. And perhaps that we have to move away from fossil fuels within the next 10-15 years...

No, you don't necessarily have to. As written here, you can build a completely normal and also nice house without KfW standards and are therefore free from some of the KfW requirements. Also consider whether you are looking for a comfortable and solidly functioning solution or whether you want to get more deeply involved; what is fun and the optimal system for one person is pure horror for another. There are many ways to make your house warm.

Probably not. Everything has to work, and I want to have my peace. But I see the issue with dependence on fossil fuels similarly. I don’t want to have to switch over in 10/15 years after all. After all, you’re not building a garden shed now but a home for the next 50 years.
