Perhaps also consider changing providers once in a while. The construction electricity tariff is usually not the cheapest tariff. So you have some control yourself.

Most network operators do not allow that. You cannot register anything else on the meter.

We have also arranged construction power through other providers, either specify it at the time of order or re-register using the meter number.

We also switched providers immediately after the house connection to avoid default supply.
This usually works with the market location number or the meter number.

Since everything is still running through our construction electricity meter, our builder said that a change is not possible.

Since when is the contractor the electricity provider? Doing more than a rejection that it’s not possible probably won’t happen. No one could tell me whether it works or not either. I tried it and can say it works. Even changed the construction power monthly and each time took the bonus via the portals ;)
