I have completely discarded the old draft and, based on the draft by alles3d and all other comments (once again, many many thanks to everyone!!!), created a new version.
The most important changes:
- pure cube 10 x 10 m without cantilevers resulting in a reduction of the living area
- entrance door centered on the valley side
- valley terrace (east) discarded, instead larger west terrace connected to the middle floor (only the door is drawn in the floor plan)
- stairwell on the north side with 180° spiral staircase instead of straight staircase
- larger kitchen
- changed room proportions
- roof terrace narrower
- reduced glass fronts
The new living area would be 209.6 m² (usable area 241.7 m²).
We would position the house adjacent to the garage in the lower third of the property, thus significantly closer to the street (--> east terrace on the lower floor removed) and create a direct stairway to the front door next to the garage. Further north on the property there is already a serpentine-like path, which could alternatively be used and extended to the house.
In the floor plan, for better visualization of dimensions in the middle floor only, some core furniture is shown for now. The rest is still missing, including the windows. Only the larger glass fronts and balcony doors are shown as examples. Unfortunately, what the program did not save is the fireplace on the ground floor, which I can well imagine as a room divider adjacent to the central wall as a subtle separation to the dining/kitchen area.
The space behind the spiral staircase could be well used in the bathroom as a shower niche or to hide the toilet. In the children's room you could place a wardrobe and from my amateur perspective, the utility room in the basement would be closer to the street and thus might save some connection fees (?).
I experimented a bit with the roof shape but still find the flat roof the most appealing. However, if there were massive advantages to a flat hipped roof or shed roof, we would also consider that. On the roof terrace, however, due to the wonderful view, we do not want to compromise.
The WC in the basement could probably be removed like in alles3d's draft for the pantry and thereby enlarge the wardrobe.
Following your recommendations, we have already scheduled an appointment for house planning. My thought is still to prepare as well as possible beforehand and incorporate the "wisdom of the crowd." Therefore, I would really continue to appreciate feedback!
