Hello everyone,
then I want to contribute something here as well, we are building a KFW40 house in Lower Bavaria. Bauhaus style, green flat roof. We are building with an architect who awards the trades based on our coordination. The main focus was to have as large window areas as possible facing west because that is where the unobstructed view of the sunset is. The location cannot be built upon, otherwise we would not have done it this way.
Construction started at the end of July, the basement is almost finished, the elevator shaft as well, the master builder is currently working on the sewage pipes and garage foundation. Living space approx. 190 sqm, air/water heat pump and on top of that will be a photovoltaic system, as large as possible. Looking forward to an active exchange, and if you have any questions, just ask. Regards, Werner
You are probably doing a controlled residential ventilation system, right? Then it’s best to plan the intake of outside air right away as a ground heat exchanger with an intake mushroom and far away and outside the main wind direction because of the field directly next to you. It’s the same for us, we also have an unobstructed view to the west with farmland directly at the property boundary. I specifically told the farmer to call me when it comes to harvest time so I can take a look. The dust development during the harvest is really enormous and definitely not to be underestimated! You definitely don’t want that dirt to be stuck in the filter of the controlled residential ventilation system! When I saw that, it became immediately clear that only a ground heat exchanger with an intake mushroom in a well wind-protected place makes sense because the intake from the technical room would have been on the north side for us and the dust from the west would nicely pass by and be sucked in!
