The only thing you have to watch out for is that they are hollow, otherwise they get so hot in the summer that you can't walk on them. A slope helps against the frost.

I think wooden planks as a terrace surface are super nice, but due to the lack of durability it will probably be stoneware or something like that. Did I make my calculation without the WPC planks? I'm hearing about them for the first time today

You probably have to walk on them and decide what you like. I had stone and this time it will probably be untreated wood. If after many years one or the other board gets damaged, it will be replaced. Something like that is just easier than with stone. WPC are quite nice too but wouldn’t be my thing because they are mixed basic materials. I prefer either one or the other.
