No, the bay window was indeed desired. But maybe it could have been extended upwards.

So, the hole is finished! They really tidy up the construction site every day...



It looks like a huge house now, but more was dug up to be able to lay the sewer; so opposite the white tarp the two sewers will go (from the old building and ours; thankfully we are allowed to use the same existing inspection shaft). The old building is also getting a new sewer because the existing one would otherwise run under our house.

Until now, I only knew garage doors that roll up inside a box structure inside the garage. With us, some strange rails were installed. I don't like it at all. Under the rail of the left door, there is maybe 5cm of space between my head and the rail. I need to ask why the two rails are at different heights, since according to the execution plan both doors are supposed to be 2.135cm high. I will have to measure the doors themselves tomorrow.

Then you probably should have ordered a roller door instead of a sectional overhead door. However, I doubt whether this would have been compatible with the aesthetic preferences.
