Yes, I am glad that it still holds up so well and moves forward without any weather-related stops.

Yes, you only see a smiley now, a laughing one, and in that respect you can live with it

For us, the functional value was simply more important. It was always clear that it should be an opaque balcony, otherwise anyone from the street could look right through the whole house. With the balcony now, you only see our heads (the street is a bit lower).

And honestly: from inside I don’t see the panels and I don’t stand in front of my house that often – I’m mostly inside. That’s why I can live quite well with it.
It’s like with a motorcycle: I think the BMW K1300R is insanely great to ride – but in terms of looks, there is definitely still potential in my eyes. If I could get it, I would take it anyway, because when I’m sitting on it, I don’t see it, I just ride it. And it really does that very well. Others have to look at it – and I don’t care about that.
With the house, the appearance is not quite that unimportant to me, but basically function comes first. For the ST it was simply the most efficient place.

I also think that it absolutely does not suit the otherwise extremely beautiful house, but I don't think you need to justify yourself for it.

I think it actually fits quite well with the dark windows and the system. It somehow has a modern vibe combined with the wood.

It doesn't matter at all, it has a wooden facade, at the latest in 2 years it will look like all wooden houses, rotted, and then the appearance is unfortunately secondary anyway.
