Is a sliding door really that expensive?

If you even consider a sliding door for €1500, you also have to think about the second window somewhere, a sliding door for the terrace, a wider staircase, 2 additional sockets in every room, 3 two-way switches plus a built-in radio, more expensive roof tiles, etc.
All individually acceptable and affordable, but not in total.
Discipline, no unnecessary extras without real benefit.

Karsten is happy to have saved the money on unnecessary stuff. With 2 people in the household, there is no need to worry about door collisions.

Some builders should take Karsten as an example, those who want the full package but probably won't use or be able to pay for it.
