What I find missing here and in the terrace showcase pictures topic is politeness. These topics are explicitly not invitations to critique, but people show with some pride what they have worked for, created, and saved up. I was raised to like a photo I find nice or write a well done comment. If I don’t like something, I remain silent. Are these "what kind of yuck townhouse 80s staircase" comments really necessary? Who are they supposed to help? What are they meant to achieve? Is this the jaded generation that bullies each other with cellphone photos? Yes, I certainly don’t like everything that appears in the pictures either. But I don’t live there either. It doesn’t have to please me. Karsten

Here I agree with you that stairs are a matter of taste, but in many other posts including the terrace flooring, they are technical errors, please distinguish and don’t always label someone immediately.
