Morning,
At first, I also thought the spark guard was unnecessary. But without it, we would definitely already have some burn marks on the parquet today. No matter how carefully you add the logs, sooner or later the log slips in a different way, sparks fly, and something falls out. You just can’t completely avoid it.
It really doesn’t work without it!

I don’t think it’s unnecessary at all, only ugly.
That a spark guard makes sense is beyond question.

Moved today. I can hardly say more than that the first wall lamps are already hanging..
May I ask about the lamp type? I really like it!

The masonry work is now complete, the dormers are formed, and the weatherproof under-roof is installed. Even the first trial roof tile is already in place.

You are the first person to want to know that. 22° for the flat roof area and 75° for the mansard.Have you ever mentioned what your two roof slopes are?
