With the partition wall in the bathroom, your tiler should have started differently. Half a tile at the top and a very narrow strip at the bottom looks unprofessional; that could have been handled better.

Things are slowly moving forward with us. After the subcontractor from the supplier sent the applications for the permits for the civil engineering work in the public area to the wrong office and we thus lost almost 6 weeks of time for the connections, things are now going much faster.

If I hadn’t called the office myself and asked where the problem was, we would probably still be waiting.

The nice thing is that I have to pay for the trench twice, even though gas and electricity are mostly in the same trench. But since I only have a relocation for electricity and a new connection for gas, that doesn’t work out billing-wise. Someone has to understand that first. But whatever, the money has to go.

I have noticed that too. I will talk to the tiler about it and ask why he tiled it that way. He must have had a reason for it. I'm curious. With large format tiles like 60x60, it would definitely be unprofessional, that's true.

You won’t see the narrow strip at the bottom with the hanging toilet, washbasin, toilet brush, and pedal bin (if present) anyway. If I wanted to criticize anything, it would be the laying pattern itself. That is probably a new original creation.

Wild dressing, no joke!

I've noticed for a while now that personal preferences, one's own execution, and lack of knowledge influence the assessments of others' work.

Same here. I only know my own way. But yes, I'm curious why he tiled it from top to bottom like that.

He would have had at least less effort if he had done it the way you said. Therefore, your assessment can't really be correct, Tom. I'm curious what he says.
