We still have a few open construction sites – since last week one more is now completed! Our sauna has finally also received its door!

So far, we have managed with a curtain, but with the glass door it is of course much nicer and brighter in the sauna.

yes, it stays that way! The staircase is a folding beam staircase and is braced using this railing. We didn't want a closed wall in this area because we wanted to direct light from the window in the attic to the hallway on the ground floor. Glass would have been an alternative, but it seemed too cold to us.

Scaffolding removed for now. Exterior plastering then towards March. Next week the painters will already start inside!! House 2 is also already rented from May, we didn't even have to advertise

Very cool! How far along are you inside so that the painter can start? I have postponed the painter twice in the last few weeks. Originally, week 4 was planned for the start, then this week, now it will be next week because the plumber and tiler are dragging their feet. I would just like them to be almost done…

I am following the construction schedule. The interior plaster is done and practically dry, the electrician has installed the boxes, rough-in plumbing is completed. The screed drying will be finished by the end of this week. The drywall installer will be filling the gypsum board this week. After a week of painting, the tiler will come, which will overlap. However, the painters will also be busy for a while, filling ceiling joints, then applying and sanding a full surface on ceilings and walls, then putting fleece everywhere, then the coat of paint. I can hardly wait for it to look a bit more "finished"... and I am also really looking forward to the exterior plaster.

I think I’m just too impatient. Our painter also estimated 3-4 weeks and will surely have to do some preparatory work at the start, it will work out. (The BAP I last saw from the general contractor in December, last week was the handover… :rolleyes
