Congratulations on moving in!! The house has really turned out great. Is there a separate kitchen plan to be seen anywhere? And which parquet do you have? It looks great. (You’ve probably written it somewhere already, but I couldn’t find it quickly)

Parquet is natural oiled oak (Holzhandel Glück aus Adelzhausen).

We already knew quite early how it should be, and some things then just happened that way (for example, at the beginning a ceramic countertop was planned for the row at the window; that was then canceled because the row is 3.27m long, but ceramic countertops are only available up to 3.20m – therefore it is now a Corian countertop with an integrated sink).

With THIS house (meaning the great house) this picture somehow pains me. Why isn’t the wall on the right flush with the tile, why is the handheld showerhead squeezed into the corner like that, why is the stool so small and asymmetrical? I also somehow find that shelf annoying. And overall, I find the anthracite too harsh for the bathroom/the house. But as I said, that’s complaining at a very high level... I’m keeping my fingers crossed that the kittens come back, the craftsmen keep at it, and you can soon take vacation at home and not at work.

What is not flush with the tile??? The tiles are 120cm wide, just like the shower - on both sides, as mentioned, the LED strips in the corners as shower lighting are still missing, as well as in the niche.

I also find the handheld showerhead a bit too close to the edge - but purely visually. When showering it is actually very practical because it is never in the way. But visually, I initially criticized it. However, the installer did it deliberately and in hindsight I have to agree with him.

We wanted the stool exactly like this. Not too big so you don't lose space, but big enough to sit on. And we didn't want a hard corner in the area where you stand while showering and could bump into, hence the slope. And it is also very practical just the way it is. My only criticism in hindsight: the rain shower is centered in the shower - with the stool I would have now oriented it rather centered between the stool and the right wall. But how the stool would come was not yet finally decided during the shell construction and when showering it is not a disadvantage that the shower is visually somewhat too far left. The niche: how would you have stored shower gel etc.? I would even make the niche a bit bigger now...

We like the anthracite. We would have liked slate - but as natural stone that was too high-maintenance for us. The tiles are not completely one-colored but, like natural stone, somewhat variegated. As I said, we like it. The electric radiator, which is still to come, will also be anthracite.

That the tiles around the tub are now dark and not white is actually great. Because so much sun comes in through the double casement window - with white tiles it would probably be very glaringly bright.

At the top, the finish is not flush, the (drywall?) wall no longer has a full tile height at the top, as you can also clearly see in the picture from the sink in post #6521. There, the wall is flush with the mirror, but not with the shower tiles. Is the lamp at the same height as the tiles? Or was the mirror height limited?

I can understand the angled stool, but I would have made it bigger for my wide butt anyway.

And the compartment... I don't know. Would it look better at full height with the width of the stool? Or maybe in the wall on the left? Or offset in color? I can't say for sure...

In the end, it's just about what you like, and I say, the house is great. For me, I would have planned the bathroom differently. And the couch
