The rough-in plumbing is finished. The roof is now complete, including the chimney cladding. Today the satellite dish will be installed along with the wiring running down to the basement. Tomorrow the plumbing pre-wall will be done. On Saturday, the rough-in electrical installation will start. Starting next week, the L-blocks around the terrace and the carport along with the curbstones for the paths around the house will be laid. I am really looking forward to that.

Everything is running smoothly so far without any special incidents or mishaps. This is what I call relaxed single-trade contracting. But I am also keeping on top of everything.

What you see here are 140sqm of shell living space plus a waterproof in-situ concrete cellar in KfW55 standard, with a cold roof, windows, interior/exterior window sills, steel/wood staircase, rough-in plumbing, 3-sided fireplace including chimney, 36m of 1.30 L-shaped stones, 240m³ of excavation/deposit, and terrain modeling. That is now €190k for all the listed items. Just for orientation for those interested.

That seems very cheap to me. Well negotiated. I would have easily expected 50,000 more.

Everyone has their own perception. I think it’s not too cheap for 140 sqm with a basement. But there wasn’t much negotiation. You get 2-3% discount per trade and that’s it.

I forgot to mention. Drainage is also completely finished! So 2 inspection shafts and a 6 cubic meter cistern + piping are also included.
