As a tip, take pictures of every bump, cable, etc.

Bring chairs and provisions for the group.

Our tiler has now started gluing the pipe ducts, etc. From Wednesday, wall tiles are supposed to follow. We are extremely looking forward to that.

Nevertheless, trouble is looming in paradise. Since we are building on a district road, I need permission from the road construction authority for the crossing. This was also drawn in the building application and only included a note that it should be checked whether the access cannot be made via the existing farm road. Furthermore, the costs for the new access would be at our expense and constitute a special use. Now, however, the building authority no longer wants to approve the second access. Has anyone ever had a similar case?

If I understand correctly, the construction was approved without this crossing approval already being available, meaning the building authority considers the property to be sufficiently accessible from the service road side. Is that really not the case, or does it only mean less convenient entering and exiting (regarding the parking spaces / garage)? Basically, I initially see "no disadvantage" in not directly exiting onto a district road. Someone might quickly clip your bumper at 70 km/h there.

Is the district road located within the town or outside? If the latter, the road construction office would probably be quite uncooperative and, in my opinion, would also have the right on its side. (I assume that the building permit cannot include the special usage right to the road, but I might inquire again at the building authority about this)

The district road is located within the built-up area. The second access was marked in the building application and the road authority only had the note: It is recommended to drive via the farm road. The second access would have to be constructed at our expense as a special use.

Exiting via the farm road is difficult as it is situated in a slight curve and it is hard to see the road and the pedestrian path. That is why I wanted the second access.

Since at that time no application had yet been made for this district road access, the authority did not yet consider the clear German response appropriate – it would have been: "No necessity is seen for this access, as such is sufficiently provided via the agricultural road." I suppose the agricultural road leads into a municipal road, i.e. for the mirror you might need there, the local municipality or association municipality would be responsible. Unfortunately, the subsidiarity principle also means that help can be provided below the district level here. Unless by chance the district administrator is in your shooting club, I see your request being rejected.
