Lumpi, I don't think that's quite fair. You have to see what is being plastered. Monolithic, for example plaster on Ytong, is basically a thermal insulation plaster, which contains many small Styrofoam beads. Once dry, a colored top coat is applied to it, which is then coated with paint in a third step. On ETICS, a mesh is absolutely necessary, and on this, the colored top coat plus paint is applied. Similar on prefab house walls. K.

That only looks white in the photo. It is also natural wood, but spruce. It will also darken and gray over time.

So, since yesterday all the windows are in. Unfortunately, I missed the main action. Actually, I was able to leave the office unexpectedly early, but then: a burning bus on the Mittlerer Ring, everything blocked off, and I had to drive through the city *grrrr*. Lost half an hour and by then all the windows were already in.

Therefore, I unfortunately don't have a photo yet of the machine that lifted the large windows into the frames. But I will surely get some. I saw a film that my dear husband made of it, it's really impressive! The large pane upstairs weighs over 500kg after all.

Here are the photos of the final result, first the exterior views:

And from inside - first the view from the dining/kitchen area:

View from the living room (we still have to work on the view...):

Our double casement window in the upstairs bathroom:

Below it will be the large bathtub; I’m already looking forward to starry nights, lying in the bathtub and gazing at the sky *dream*

And here is the large and very heavy window upstairs:

At the right angle, even with a bit of mountain view:

Preferably to idiots who then "fill in" the joints flush - especially nice ;-( with handmade bricks.

What are those light gray "Telekom squares" on the walls?

Climbee: looks great! And the windows are just amazing! But I guess the window cleaner will be happy too?!

Something has happened here...

Many, many gray stones

and after three days they are all set. It will probably continue in the new year
