The exterior basement stairs were installed yesterday:

I enjoy these kinds of things, so I spent a long time on them. Designed furniture myself, my husband did the construction, the carpenter had to build it (poor guy, oops). And when shopping for decorations, someone always has to hold me back. But we feel really comfortable and that's the main thing!

Currently, we are building the terrace. Then there is still some wooden cladding missing on the house which we will also do ourselves. The wood projects are simply the most fun (except decorations )

A different question:

Do you have complete Venetian blinds, also in the bedrooms?

I am still considering .... planned to have Venetian blinds in the living area and roller shutters everywhere else.

Wickie, do you have a thread here with your house? Looks great - probably just like how we would have liked to build it. I would be interested, incl. plans.

What did you make the raised bed from? Is that raw steel?
