Thank you for your positive feedback :) The doors throughout the house are 2.50 meters. While we have a room height of 2.75 meters downstairs, we were only allowed to realize 2.65 meters upstairs due to the limited ridge height. Baseboards would not have looked good with the flush doors. A shadow gap was considered, but it would have created an unimaginable effort. Therefore, the floor layers and plasterers had to work seam to seam so that there is a clean transition from wall to floor without baseboards. This did not exactly elicit enthusiasm from both trades, but it works. The floor is linoleum (Wikipedia: "The main advantage of linoleum is its resistance to mechanical and chemical stress. ... Linoleum is antistatic, slightly fungicidal and bacteriostatic (i.e., it inhibits bacterial growth)."). We laid it in the hope that it could at least withstand our children for a while..., as it has proven itself in public areas. Good luck with your project, sounds good with the room height and the flush doors.looks awesome. Two questions,
