Oh, that's what you mean. No, the wall is just as white as before with us. The vapors also rise upwards and not sideways.

So if I roast a goose, for example, I also keep taking it out now and then with the extractor and basting it, or turning it. The same goes for oven-roasted vegetables. Or plum jam. It can happen that one or the other splatter ends up on the wall. Certainly not as bad as with a GSP on the wall, but still. Personally, it would also bother me if I couldn’t reach my roast from all sides because there’s a wall there; but it’s definitely doable. However, I don’t find it optimal either.

I can't understand that at all, it has never bothered me. I turn the vegetables without pushing them out, and if I do, I put the entire tray on the countertop, do everything, and slide it back in. The resting surface is right next to it. I don't find an oven in the middle of the room optimal if you don't install it directly under the stove... but then you would have to bend down... so that's not optimal either. Besides, doesn't almost everything splash in the kitchen anyway? That's really a minor evil, the dishwasher is much worse.

Today it is quiet at our construction site because everything is prepared for the basement, which will only be done tomorrow.

Ready for the floor slab!
Under the EPDM foil is the insulation, which of course you cannot see like this:

The crane is already standing and waiting for work:

...and we didn’t even have to partially close the street for it, because our ground (a mixture of gravel and clay) is so solid that the crane finds support on it:

Climbee, can you send pictures of the setup? I'm really curious.

Let's see how I will be there tomorrow. Although I have the day off tomorrow, the vet is coming to us in the morning to vaccinate my 5 indoor cats. After that, I will definitely go up and take a look.

In between, I do have an appointment and shopping also needs to be done, but I hope that I can document the progress again and again.
