My husband was on vacation and I kept stopping by briefly to check.

My guy is there too, so at least I get the pictures.

Now I will try to get out soon today (and then not stand in traffic for too long - Munich, the city with the daily traffic collapse *ugh*)

Tomorrow the basement will be excavated and the area will be backfilled or spread 70cm above the L-stones. Then about 1.5m to street level are still missing. But those will come later.

I'll put it this way, I'm dying the "cheaper death." An excavated basement floor including a raised terrace would have cost me 40k€ more, but with the compaction and the additional 28m of L-shaped stones around the terrace and carport, it's "only" 30k€. The disposal for the basement excavation is not included yet! The lower L-shaped stones do not belong to me.
