: The house is located in the Bavarian Forest, where fortunately it is still green and the prices for plots of land are not inflated (90 euros per sqm). The trick, however, was to get one; it took almost 4 years until I had one that was suitable. The house is built in solid construction (42 cm unfilled bricks) with a basement. It is on a slight slope, so the view of the kitchen is deceptive; it is actually on the ground floor. The window can be cleaned quite well with a ladder. The garden is still quite manageable or rather non-existent, as we eventually ran out of motivation and energy. I took over the construction management together with a freelance building surveyor; in hindsight, he was worth his weight in gold, so I can only recommend proceeding this way. I awarded the trades individually myself. The time from the excavation of the basement to moving in was a brisk 15 months. However, nothing was paved at the time of moving in; this was done on Saturdays from May to October by me, my father-in-law, and another helper.

Yes, the Bavarian Forest is still a bit more relaxed there. Beautiful area - my ex was from near Untergriesbach. So I know the area, but it is a bit far from me.

I am waiting for more photos and, as I said, the floor plans would really interest me a lot.

Cellar ... nice :)

How is it used?

The kitchen can be seen in the first picture (post #9,785).

@ Schimi
In the basement there is a storage room for drinks and for the second refrigerator, then the boiler room, a storage room, and two quite spacious offices, although mine has already been converted into my men's den. The house has a second front door on the north side, so you can go directly into the basement.
