So it really looks huge in the picture. It’s surely also because of the basement. So what is it going to be now? One can hardly wait in suspense! At least tell us a few key data: roof shape, total square meters, heating, floor coverings, number of bathrooms and rooms – things like that.
I have already given some information in the previous posts. But I am happy to summarize again here.
When everything is finished, we hope to have a single-family house with a total of 176 m² of living space over two floors. Since the house will have an open stairwell from the top down into the basement, there will be a little more than 12 m² of additional living space in front of the basement rooms.
The room layout is:
Ground floor: hallway, kitchen, pantry, dining room, living room, office, shower, and toilet.
On the upper floor there are three rooms in addition to the bathroom.
What you currently see in the pictures is only the basement “main house.” On the south side (street side) there is an extension of the living room. To the east a home office extension will be added.
The office will have a flat roof, as will the living room, which is planned to have a roof terrace. The main house will then be covered by a hipped roof.
We will use geothermal energy for heating. The drilling will take place as soon as the basement has been insulated and the excavation pit filled.
The floor coverings in the house will be tiles and designer flooring (vinyl).
Upstairs there is a large bathroom. On the ground floor, a shower and toilet. Both showers are in built-in niches and flush with the floor.
An extra feature will be the ceiling height in the office extension. The shell dimension is 3.50 m. After screed and floor covering, about 3.30 m will remain. Plenty of room for books, then.
I hope this answers all questions for now and the curiosity about how everything will turn out remains.
Best regards
