Finally, finally I can really join in here!!!
Yesterday the excavators moved in and first demolished tree stumps and old walls and dug out an apple tree (which is to be saved, we’ll see if it survives).

The landfill still wants to create a VE report first (which shouldn’t be a problem), then excavation will continue from Wednesday.

We have stacked the paving stones (we will reuse the stones) on pallets and they are waiting on the construction company's site for their reuse.



I still have to take a photo of the current status today. The walls should be gone by now.

Finally, the screed is in progress and will be finished today.

Unfortunately, there was a scheduling misunderstanding with the garage door installer; he then had to drop everything else, drive there quickly, and now install everything at breakneck speed (2 gates, 1 door), so that the screed can still be applied there today.
