Here is a photo of how we solved the TV problem (for various reasons we moved away from the South Korean company). This is the "couch corner," which is only rarely used for TV. (When it gets dark early, I occasionally put on a crackling fake fireplace, a fireplace for the poor. ;-) )

Here now follows the opposite dining corner, which is not yet tidied up or finally designed. We have to wait longer for the garage, so some of our garden furniture (e.g. the table) is standing there. Except for the hallway, we have not hung any pictures anywhere yet.

Here are two pictures of the kitchen, currently in an untidy state because it is still too early. ;-) We will also replace the garden chairs here. The film behind the sink is only temporary until we find something else, as are the different handles on the drawers and doors. The drilling distances vary, so it is not easy to find matching handles.

We are older people, which you can certainly tell from the taste and the furniture, but we like it very much. If I could give just one piece of advice, it would always be to have as many windows and patio doors as possible. :) That is the only thing about our house that we would do the same way again, even with a lot more money, if we were to build a new one. In my opinion and experience, nothing can replace a maximum amount of daylight. I would have liked to have even more windows. I especially miss three floor-to-ceiling windows in the living room, but that was not feasible within the household. ;-)
Exterior photos will follow when the garden has a bit more to offer, since some of you already know our house and it is quite unspectacular.
Apart from the surprising price increase in the five-figure range for us, building the house was a lot of fun and I would actually build again immediately. :)
I wish all future builders just as much fun, coupled with the request to let us share joy and sorrow here in the forum. Some of us in the forum are human cotton balls, others more like human m&ms, but every one of us wants to help and contribute to a good outcome if desired. :)
