I think it's better than the perfectly straight roads of other new development areas. At least no one speeds that way ;) But it's funny that in the development plan, the regulation is made that garages must be perpendicular or parallel to the street. For some, this raises the question about the exact reference point.

Why do you make so little roof overhang on such a large house?

Firstly, I don’t like it aesthetically and secondly, it doesn’t keep the moisture away from the house. A large roof overhang on the gables and eaves would certainly have worked better and also been better for the house.

At least you didn’t choose those gray windows, but white ones. Looks good. Also in terms of the layout.

Some people don't like roof overhangs because they apparently seem too "alpine." I find too short roof overhangs more like warehouses and am also in favor of a bit more overhang. But to each their own.

To be honest, I had given those big overhangs some serious thought. The construction performance description stated 40cm, I thought that was okay and with that, the matter was settled ;)

OK, that looks like less. I also have 40cm...

We also have an overhang of about 40 cm all around. That was the standard from our prefabricated house supplier and we accepted it as such.
