May I ask how you realized the roofing? We want to have it like that too and our architect recommended a solid ceiling for the garage to keep it monolithic. I almost suspect that everything was timber construction with you, since the windows are around the corner!?

Now everything in the atrium is finally "finished." Unfortunately, it already shows that the floorboards were not laid completely flat and there is a small wave in it... Damn. I also don't really like the individual boards at the edges (partly perpendicular to the laying pattern, not connected to the main surface), but that was the easiest solution to quickly access the drains to clean them.

This should be enough for now, but I will have to work on it again at some point.

Here are some current pictures of our project. Currently, work on the outdoor facilities is underway. Inside, the bathrooms will be fully plastered next week and the electrical installation completed.

Since last week, our front door has been installed and yesterday the Blower Door Test was conducted. During the leak detection, four or five small leaks were found that the drywall contractor still needs to fix. Despite the leaks, we achieved an n50 value of 0.7 1/h. For the final house and without leaks, the tester suspects that we will reach a maximum of 0.6 1/h. For a KFW55 house, I think that is an absolutely top value, with which I am really very satisfied.

In addition, we have carried out a few DIY tasks in the last few days. Among other things, we have installed a drywall partition wall that hides the ventilation ducts of the controlled residential ventilation and tiled the basement rooms. Unfortunately, we still have major problems with drainage. Our sanitary technician has no idea and accepts oversized offers from manufacturers, which he passes on to us without review, 1:1. The issue is currently escalating with the construction contractor...

Yesterday, the 0.5 finishing plaster was applied on the lime base plaster. The result is visible, and the walls finally became white. We also finished wallpapering and painting the suspended light cove lighting.

We are also making small progress. The first layer of plaster is applied, everything should be finished in 2-3 weeks including the paint. The delays were due to the weather (too cold, too wet) and nothing happened last week because the whole crew was down thanks to the vaccination. But it's better to be down because of the vaccination than because of Corona ;). The screed on the upper floor has now been finished for a week, and the screed on the ground floor will be laid on Tuesday.
