I'm not really familiar with new kitchens, mine is already 60 years old after all - but isn't the power connection for the dishwasher usually on the wall and called an outlet?

I assume the dishwasher and the sink are supposed to be in the island, therefore the water connections are also in the middle of the room

So for me, the black cable wrapped around the water connections is a power cable.
