We absolutely wanted chairs with armrests at every seat because we often hang out at the table for a long time with guests/family, and eventually, you don’t know where to put your arms anymore. We find a chair you can slump into and rest your arms on just more comfortable. To get up, yes, you have to push it all the way back. But that hasn’t bothered us so far.

Curtains would never come into my house - I don’t like them and as a house dust allergy sufferer, I’m an argument against them anyway. But we don’t miss any...

I also have long curtains on the sides and am glad about it. Until there is money for a terrace roof or awning again, they are used as sun protection or closed at night when the wind is too strong and the [Raffstore] are up.

I see it the same way. Armless dining chairs only exist because of cramped conditions. Just put a properly large table, then chairs with armrests will fit as well.
