Does anyone have curtains in front of a floor-to-ceiling window? I can't really imagine how something like that is supposed to look good, but the hostess insists.

Nice! Why aren’t the panes transparent? What is hanging in front of them?

We definitely wanted chairs with armrests at all seats because we often sit for a long time at the table with guests/family, and eventually, you don’t know where to put your arms. We find a chair that you can slump into and rest your arms on simply more comfortable. When getting up, yes, you have to push it back all the way. But that hasn’t bothered us so far.

I wouldn’t have curtains in the house – I don’t like them, and as someone allergic to house dust, that’s an argument against them anyway. But we don’t miss them either...
