In my view, your roof truss construction turned out to be more complex than is necessarily typical for the mansard roof – however, assuming proper designer expertise, I can basically even imagine a truss roof for it.

And voilà, thanks to Adsense:

What are the two temperature sensors in the flow and return used for?

You are certainly right, that even applies to many parts of the house. It's just the belt and suspenders approach. However, it is also indisputable that a mansard roof is significantly more expensive than a technically similarly constructed gable roof.

Only partially or no. As a gable mansard roof, it has two instead of one ridge beam(s) per slope and is not significantly more complex=expensive, whereas a hip mansard roof like on your house is indeed (but I would be cautious with the term "similarly constructed" there), and as a truss construction it is only more complex in the hip version and with a gable probably approximately the same price, just "different."

You can dismantle it again right away :P No one needs heating actuators. Unfortunately, I found that out too late :-(

I know. but regarding cooling, etc., I need them because the actuators are normally closed without power. And ERR is just like that...
