Could you make me a picture of the whole painted chimney when finished?

Definitely. I'm curious myself, especially when the fireplace insert is in place.

It has also started with us and is going just like baking pretzels: EG House 2 is fully built, the ceiling formwork is on it. The lower floor slab of House 1 is stripped, the upper one insulated & shuttered (meanwhile also reinforced) including the steps down and is probably being poured right about now. Tomorrow the first floor slab of House 2 will come and next week the walls of House 1 EG will start. The L-blocks Arie and the filling of the property are already done as well, that happened between the gravel base and the first floor slab. Now basically "only" building needs to be done. Currently it’s going quite well, even though I’ve already had to correct 2-3 small things (window sill too high, door opening wrong...). But all that went quite relaxed.

The blinds are installed. They still need to be connected. I was at the house yesterday; the fireplace was primed black without care yesterday. But you can already guess that the contrast with the white walls will be a great eye-catcher. The stair steps are now being made of glued oak slats, lacquered. Surcharge to beech €1700.

Who came up with this catastrophic sewage routing...
Have fun when something gets clogged there.
