The craftsmen are busy, so are we:
- The painters are painting the upper floor, ground floor. Actually also the chimney in glitter-gray. The nice thing is, the paint/paste is wet-wipeable.
- We painted the basement over the weekend. Only the storage cellar room is left.
- The tiler has been inside since yesterday and is preparing everything. He will start with the walls.
- Next week the floors in the ground and upper floors will be tiled. The basement comes later, the screed is not dry yet there.
- The roof hatch has been installed since yesterday.
- The venetian blinds arrived today and will be mounted in the next few days.
- The front door will arrive in 2 weeks.
- The staircase is getting more expensive because natural beech laminated boards, lacquered, do not fit with the wood-look tiles. It will now have to be oak after all. The quality will decide the surcharge.
EDIT: The wood-look tiles will be laid mixing 120x20 and 120x30. These tiles will be laid completely on the ground floor.
Could you make me a picture of the whole painted chimney when finished?
