When I consider that last Tuesday we only started with the L-stone foundation, then it is going really well. Today the clean layer was poured, by Friday the base slab should be finished and on Monday the formwork for the WU basement will be set and the basement walls poured. Where the bulge is, the 6cbm cistern will be placed.

In this case, however, I have the impression that the boss knows what he is doing and the team is fully on board (virtually the opposite of the Hotzenplotz shell construction). Nevertheless, a legitimate question. In the picture, it looks pretty frayed (meaning the excavation pit and slab).

Shell construction always goes quickly because you can see progress; interior finishing then becomes slow.

: Where is something frayed there? @Platte: That is not the floor slab! The blinding layer only has to be horizontal and smooth like a baby's bottom. It doesn't have to win a beauty prize.

Then tell that to my neighbor. There, the shell construction took 4 months from excavating the pit to pouring the upper floor ceiling. The roofer has also been working for a month now and there are still no tiles on it.

A clean layer is rarely seen in a single-family house. Are you building with an architect or a prefab provider?
