We have the same time horizon. The groundbreaking was on 9/3/18 and the move-in is in July.

However, we had an almost three-month construction stop because of that unspeakable notary.

That means: if everything had gone smoothly (like on the construction site), we would be moving in right now, or actually already would have.

In any case, the apartment has already been terminated as of 7/31. So we have to be in the new house by then!

Then I'll keep my fingers crossed for you.

Excavators are currently not an option for us. Next week, the surveyor will come to mark the pile points for the pile foundation, and it is scheduled to take place in week 21.

That has nothing to do with what you build on it, but with how load-bearing the soil is. Our soil is poor, which is why our bungalow is on piles. I don’t want our house to sink like the highway did.
