Today, the roof box was completed on our house and the garage was plastered with reinforcement plaster.

Somewhere here in the depths of the forum I had seen a house construction project, which unfortunately I can no longer find. Can someone help me?

The project was still under construction, it had a red-brown clinker facade, was industrial style, and had many likes (I believe also from ).

Regarding the thermal break and the described procedure ....

One could make the canopy out of wood, it wouldn't look any different visually, right?

That was also the point of my question....
Would it be possible "retroactively" and entirely out of wood, and perhaps cheaper than first using the thermal break + subsequent cladding!?

...unless you want to execute the canopy in exposed concrete anyway...

With the pitched roof added on top, it could certainly have been made entirely out of wood. But whether that would have been much cheaper is hard to say - certainly not by much.
