So, the kitchen is finally finished. Everything works, the RCD switch no longer trips, the drawers close wonderfully smoothly, and so do the doors. And if you're wondering which planner came up with the idea of the sink and sockets being placed right behind each other... that was the plumbing crew, dull fellows who can't really read properly. Actually, the plumber and the electrician had Ikea's kitchen plan to correctly set the connections and drains. It worked for the electrician, but the water and sewage connection was placed too far to the left by the plumber. So we had to redesign and swap the dishwasher and sink during assembly. That's how it is now. Breaking open the wall, no. We'll live with it, and the plumber gave us a little something as compensation.

Karsten,
Is your right double socket crooked?

Well, sooner or later you want to be finished - but from my perspective, it's still a detail that you can be annoyed about forever.

I'm not that kind of guy. Honestly, I couldn't care less about that now. Fortunately, my wife couldn't care less either. We fit together quite well. Karsten

I don't see any crooked socket at all. It would be too tight for me around the sink, I would have planned it further to the right.

Best regards
Sabine

If you had read properly, you would have seen that it was planned differently, as Karsten described a few posts earlier....
