No idea where I wrote anything about bending, but you can do 90° bends, even relatively tight with the thin cables, and then simply parallel to the walls and not crisscross. Inside the building, you also go straight down the walls and not diagonally over the wall.

Hello,

there are already reasons to use the shortest route between 2 points for the cables. You are not allowed to protect with 16A for cable lengths > 15m with 1.5mm² !! So it makes sense to take the shortest path to keep the cable length <15m.

And with interior walls, this is done because it is required. There are so-called installation zones where the cables are located.

As an electrician, can you explain this in more detail? I come to about 23 meters, which is 50% more after all.

To be honest, I don't feel like digging out all the formulas to calculate this for you. It annoyed me enough in school.

Quote from VDE 0100-410 (which regulates this)

And what is not considered there are additional impedances caused by plug, screw, and terminal connections. That's why you usually say 15 m to be on the safe side.

That's how I learned it at some point....

Today the heavyweight wall at the terrace was finished. It's really impressive how they maneuver such heavy granite blocks with the excavator. After we had them remove the top row from Monday again (it was completely crooked), they came back today with new stones and now it fits perfectly. We are quite thrilled.

In the meantime, we have started the miniature version of it on the back of the house; we will do the other half over the weekend. One block weighs 45 kg. I'm done, my back too.

Tomorrow the paver will probably start; he wants to get going over the weekend as well. Next week we will spread topsoil, then that’s it for now.

My first photo here...

Okay, I think the following photos will have to wait a little longer.

We ordered bricks yesterday.
25 weeks delivery time. [emoji849][emoji849][emoji849] The construction now starts 8 weeks later than planned.
Yes, we are crazy [emoji4]
