I don’t think so. I consider it more timeless than, for example, some gray tiles in 60 x 60. But everyone to their own. You always have to see the entire furnishing to be able to judge whether it fits and is harmonious. By the way, hexagon tiles will be laid in the bathroom... But back to the actual topic of the thread, otherwise we can continue discussing in the tile thread.

Who exactly is "people"? People who align their taste with the current trend? Then I agree with you. People who are aware of their own taste and style decide more independently of fashions. It is very rare for them to be so off the mark that they have to tear out floors or doors or something else again prematurely.

Sitting in front of the stove right now, enjoying the cozy warm heat and the flickering with a good cocktail (-: I wouldn't give up this stove for all the money in the world. When you always read "no stove in new buildings," I can only encourage everyone facing this decision: "Do it!!!" We heat almost every day at the moment and 25 degrees in the dining room is just right.

Treat yourself... how can anyone be anti-fireplace?! What’s more beautiful than fire .

Taste varies here as well. In our old building apartment, we had a nearly 100-year-old terrazzo floor. And we find our current floor just as beautiful, so it will probably last a bit longer, similar to our solid wood planks in the rest of the house.
