AxelH., did they build above your basement without it being backfilled? My "great" construction company only wants to continue building when it has been backfilled. And since the insulator did not seal it, it will probably take another 4 weeks.

The shell always goes up quickly, what takes a long time is the interior work.

For me, even the shell takes ages. :-(

Look, there is an increase everywhere, with us the shell construction worker repeatedly finds reasons not to "be able" to start, but ties the start of construction to the fact that we have not yet deducted the delay accumulated so far... [emoji57]

Hello Loads, yes, that is how it was done. However, for structural reasons, stabilizing concrete columns were also cast in on three sides of the basement level. There is a plan behind the whole thing. On two sides of the house, there will be extensions without a basement. That is why we had to proceed this way. Best regards Axel
